Tusk Lawyers’ director, Tegan Childs is a young gun who loves a fight.

Having practised law in all levels of district, state and federal courts across Queensland and New South Wales, Tegan is a seasoned litigator, ready to jump on her client’s most urgent and high-stakes disputes.

Tegan has worked exclusively in litigation on the Gold Coast since 2015, establishing Tusk Lawyers in her Burleigh Heads neighbourhood, providing a fresh approach and teaching those old boys on the other side of the courtroom a few new tricks.

Tegan uses every trick in her book and thinks outside the box to gain the leverage her clients need to obtain their best outcomes, as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.

No two days are the same for Grace at Tusk – and she loves it that way.

Grace thrives on connecting with clients and using her craft to help people who may not have access to the legal help they need. Ask anyone close to Grace and they’ll say the law really excites her, especially the fast paced nature of litigation. Her strength is her thoughtful approach to working closely with clients to provide clarity and options, to bring about resolutions.

After growing up in the laid-back coastal Byron Bay area, Grace moved to the Gold Coast for Uni, studying a Bachelor of Laws and Business. Grace was drawn to Tusk’s client-focused approach and cultivation of excellent results in and out of the courtroom.

Areas that particularly peak Grace’s interest include media and reputation and assisting clients in creative industries like fashion and music.

Getting to the root cause of problems and solving them drives Nathan to assist Tusk clients in resolving their disputes and finding relief.

Nathan’s agility and desire to go deeper than surface level plays a big role in Tusk’s reputation for excellent results. A true student of the world, Nathan had visited 45 countries by 23, experiencing a vast array of cultures, teachings and ways of life. Nathan has settled back in his native stomping ground on the Gold Coast, however continues to gain new experiences with each new client who retains Tusk.

Nathan has worn many hats at Tusk – as one of Tusk’s first employees, Nathan has enjoyed growing with the firm from start-up and being thrown in the deep end. Nathan is currently studying a degree in Sustainable Development which has been driven by Nathan’s passion and interest for the outdoors - on the weekend, you’ll find Nathan at his favourite surf spot or dropping a line in for a fish on the broad water.

Nathan is looking forward to commencing future studies in Law to continue his development at Tusk.
